I live in Surrey with my husband and our lovely little boy, who in many ways has inspired the creation of Calm Little People. We discovered baby massage as new parents and found it to be a very empowering skill to learn at a time of immense personal change and upheaval. Along with the many benefits of massage, it provided us with a fantastic opportunity for connection which still endures to this day.
Before becoming a parent I was a busy primary school teacher, but after having my son creating a greater balance in my life became a priority. I loved teaching and working with children, but I decided to take my skills in a new direction. I wanted a role that focused on developing the emotional well-being of children and supporting parents on their journey too.
My vision for Calm Little People is to provide a range of services to support the mental health of children from babies right the way through the primary school years. Offering baby massage courses is the first step in achieving this goal. I completed my baby massage training through Blossom and Berry on their Royal College of Midwives accredited course.
